Our bookshelf each day has a new book or map. It is a beautiful stage the one where you can fantasise and imagine your next adventures. The leaning is to see yourself project very far. Easy but rough mistake due to the speed of the transfers and to the too many images we see every day. Altripiani wants to go and discover what’s behind the corner as well, document it, tell it to you and perhaps make you want to go in that place and discover it by yourselves.
We keep putting down ideas, we discuss them with some friends or partners of the project. Then these ideas become realty and we have the luck to walk through plateaux and cultures, staying warm and comfortable and with a great tent on our shoulders.
We introduce you to stories that are “not so far from home”, jumping on and off of trains, trains made of one coach, likely slower than a bike and which travel through very aged rails. We reach mountain passes, touch some peaks and sleep in small cabins and old Alpine lodges.
We like to give you in-depth information about food, getting in touch with people ready to reveal us the secrets of their traditional cuisine.
New friendships will be born and the archive of images and emotions will be even bigger!
